Colombo City

There are plenty of things to do in Colombo, a city full of varied attractions, including posh shops, bustling marketplaces, cafés and restaurants, and a lively nightlife. Here, cultural monuments, colonial homes, and ultra-modern skyscrapers coexist with different lives and customs, both ancient and modern. With several colonial structures preserved and repaired, the city’s culture and architecture still reflect the Portuguese, Dutch, and English heritage.

The center of the city is also home to a number of historical sites, such as churches, mosques, Hindu Kovils, and old Buddhist temples.
